I'm not English or anything but I think it's so sad that they are overlooked on Independence Day. How do you think they feel?! All these Americans going around celebrating all the America they have, but what do English people have? Nothing! Being happy about things that other people don't have is really insensitive. That's why I think that English people should unite on the 4th of July and tell everybody they exist and how they don't need America to have happy and fulfilled lives and we'll call it English Awareness Day (EAD.)
Anyway! The 4th of July was just invented by greeting card companies to sell flowers and chocolate fireworks. ;_;
